Good question. Left shoulder always been a bit weak. I messed both shoulders up back in 2018 after digging a 200ft trench for water pipe. I could still use my arms, I just couldn't lift them very high. but the left one never really got anywhere close to being "normal" until like 2021.
So since 2018, I took push ups and stuff like that out of my morning routine. Didn't even try doing those until like after 2021 or so. But decided to try a few a week a couple of months ago. Left shoulder instantly started staying sore. Torquing the bolts on the tractor cylinder head didn't help. Soreness was off and on so hard to pin down any one thing that might be causing it. Decided last Sunday, the 20th, to chop down a large overgrown cactus in the front yard. Chopped it up with a shovel and ax and was throwing pieces of that into a utility trailer using a pitchfork. Some piece were pretty heavy, like 50 - 70lbs or something. Took all I had to lift it with a pitchfork but didn't seem like too much of a stressor. Did two trailer loads, plus to throw it into my neighbor's field meant I also had to pitchfork it back out of the trailer
But Monday woke up and it felt mostly fine. But tuesday it was getting sore and I couldn't wash my face using my left hand. Couldn't really lift it that high any more. Then woke up Wednesday and was super sore and couldn't lift my hand above my waist and it has been stuck there ever since. Only getting more painful. This morning there was no position I could get it into where it wasn't painfully throbbing So went to the clinic before I went insane (I was going insane)


I should have bullied the doctor into getting a pain pill prescription but didn't
Funny thing is the over the counter stuff seems to work fine other than it won't knock you out so you sleep 14 hours

You need to buy one of those $1000 mini excavator on AliExpress so that you don't need to dig trenches by hand. Do it now because the RMB is just going up.

lol link? Was debating on spending $1000 at a different urgent care clinic for "sports injuries". I would rather have new toys even if it involves suffering longer though
