waxing a goat horn, is that some kind of code terminology? What were you really doing?

Ok, but it is incredibly disappointing. I thought I was going to squeeze out a giant cyst or something. But no, it was just a tiny white nugget. Very unsatisfactory

Going to go visit Grandma today at the new nursing home we had to put her in. The old nursing home kept doping her up on Xanax pills or something.

Xanax is used to treat anxiety disorders and anxiety caused by depression.
Hmm, it sounds like they want to take the money but keep their inmates under control.

Also, I've declared war on mice but I need a cat.

Someone is eating birds outside the house but I don't know who it is. Is it a cat or a falcon? If it is a cat I would like to hire it.

New place way better. Still Nigerian owned. But the owner lady lives in the garage :ughlol: and was super nice. She was asking us what kind of food does she like, etc. "All our food here is gourmet. We cook everything", etc. Only weird thing is the other two patients are men, but it seems one just needs help due to a stroke and the other is just a bit on the "too old" side to live by himself.

It is not a euphemism, I sanded, polished, and waxed. Big ballin, shot callin :monkey: :mrt:

ok, never heard about you need to polish the horns of goats before when they are attached to the goat.

The only thing I've heard is that you grind down horns on cows because cows are very hierarchical animals and they use the horns on each other.

Well you certainly don't need to. But this was a "I wonder if" situation.

Spent most of yesterday thinking about better and more space efficient ways to backup/make snapshots of my laptop and other computers. Debating on just using LVM snapshots but the issue there, in its regular form, each snapshot decreases the disk performance. The way out of that is LVM with thin provisioning as snapshots with that doesn't decrease performance but the other issue is with thin provisioning performance is just all around degraded and one needs to do benchmarking and tuning. So kind of gave up on that idea but that was a 5 hour rabbit hole :bleh:
