Reminds me of this "50 years in the future" video I was shown in kindergarten. Had an old man and little girl sitting on a bench in a grassy park. She asked "Why is this park called landfill park?". To which he responded about how a long time ago we used to not recycle our trash, we would just throw it into big holes in the ground so this whole area was a giant hill of garbage. But then we came to our senses and mined all the plastic and metal out of the landfill. Used the plastic to build the houses we now live in and brought in dirt to plant grass on. Thus "landfill park".
It is not satire and it is intended for children.

Some of the "sparks" stay in the same place for more than one frame while the "spaceship" moves every frame.
