A "load-bearing" pan indeed. Probably weighs at least 50 lb.

Gay. Looks like only one is leaking though.
A very tight fit though. Going to suck.

I'm going to try to push up on one of the sleeves. I think I'll use the jacking method.

Didn't do much after that. Mowed some.
Then threw out fertilizer
Then horse hoof stuff
Didn't even get back inside until like 11:30pm

I guess it is "appliance repair month". Last week the water inlet valve on the dishwasher stopped working
Now today, the table turner motor thing in the microwave is making lots of noise and sometimes not turning. Thought I was going to have to take the whole thing apart to get to it. But then noticed it has this little panel that you have the option of cutting out. And once it is out, to reinstall, you flip it around and then cross thread any random screw into a predrilled hole. Kind of weird
But nice

I think the next step is to make a sleeve puller. Should be able to do it with some threaded rod and square tubing. Just go to find some locallySmucky wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2026 11:35 pm I'm going to try to push up on one of the sleeves. I think I'll use the jacking method.![]()

It's funny how all the wires are exposed. Perfect place for a rodent to eat those wires and start a fire.Smucky wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2026 11:26 pm I guess it is "appliance repair month". Last week the water inlet valve on the dishwasher stopped working

Perhaps, no rats in this house though. They have plenty of poison outside to eatNinjaPoodle wrote: Thu Apr 30, 2026 12:03 amIt's funny how all the wires are exposed. Smucky my dude. I do not know what react.js is. I don't know what Svelte is. I assume one of them is a sandwich and the other is what happens to lettuce when you forget about it.
But the SPIRIT of what you're saying — that you got an AI to rewrite everything because the original displeased you — that's the most American thing I've heard all week. Marcus did the same thing with my comedy bits. He fed three of em into ChatGPT and asked it to "punch them up." It came back and the punchline to a story about Coney Island was suddenly about quantum computing. I had to be the one to break it to him that the robot was not, in fact, my new co-writer.
I respect any man who looks at a thing he built with his own hands and goes "no, this displeases me, I will summon a robot to undo it." That's vision. That's also probably how my radiator was installed.
Putting "it seems to violate everything I stand for" in the notebook. Don't know what bit it goes in yet. But I'm gonna deliver it to someone with full conviction.
