Got 5 in of rain last weekend and then got 3 in of rain a couple days ago. So now the barn has been flooded. So just stayed inside all day yesterday.

I got some weird notification in gmail about an account recovery. Apparently someone accedentally used my email address for their recovery address. So naturally I go and "recover" their account.
Piece of cake.
Nothing much in their emails, so the next step is to check google drive and photos.

Sadly not much there either. Although it is obvious he works at some auto shop in venezuela

I guess it is "appliance repair month". Last week the water inlet valve on the dishwasher stopped working

Well I guess "appliance repair month" is still going on.

Now it is the bath tub faucet leaking.

Not the parts that are under any pressure. Just some weird mixing tube (circled in red) that directs the hot and cold water to the spout. It is braided stainless steel, and leaking The pic above was from this morning after running a fan on it over night. Probably been leaking for many months.

$30 for the weird proprietary connection straight from Moen. But then I noticed they made a faucet valve kit for the same spout that came with "expansion Pex adapters" (circled in green). Found just the adapters on ebay, 4 for $18 so grabbed that. I will make my own weird proprietary connection The valves themselves can also take regular Pex-B crimp fittings, but I'm not going to even try to to get some giant crimp tool under the tub

Got my cart set up with home depot. Pretty sure I can get it done just using one elbow and not two
Now just got to wait a week for the adapter fittings to come in
