Man crazy. Just ordered those yesterday and they shipped today. None of the physical eyeglass stores around here even have their own lab. If you buy anything from them, they take the frames and mail them to some lens lab somewhere with an ETA of 7-14 days which almost always ends up being closer to 14 days than 7. :raise:
It shipped FedEx on Friday from Ohio. And it was scheduled for delivery on Tuesday but now it's showing delivery on Monday and it's already waiting at the local distribution center. I remember when FedEx used to be such crap but now it seems like they've really come a long way. :bigthumb:
Just arrived. I'm pretty impressed. :bigthumb:

Noticed some relatives down at my grandma's house so went over there to investigate. Looks like today is the day we shovel her into an assisted living house. :poop: dang

Had to help her get down the stairs and into uncle's car and off they went. She can't really walk anymore. They told her they were going to a doctor appointment to look at her legs :ughlol:

So for $5000 a month, she will live in a normal three bedroom house with two other patients. The owners/staff live in the house next door and keep a 24/7 staff rotation going. There were a couple of different places to choose from, but they were all the same and all staffed by black people. Hoping this ain't the ultimate whyte man pay back :ugh:

$5000 a month, then you live in luxury apartments in metropolitan areas. Where are all the money going to?

Ok her first night there seemed to go well from what I've heard. Uncle went by to visit this morning and she was at the kitchen table eating and trying to talk to the other old patients there. Nurses said she didn't put up any fights.

And as far as it being ran and owned by black people, my uncle corrected me on that. He said it is not ran by niggers, but by immigrants from africa. I'll never understand how people come here from other countries and immediately run their own business. I mean, r/millennials is full of people whining how they'll never own a house and here is some Nigerian family coming out of nowhere and buying two houses in a new subdivision and staffing it with nurses :hamp:

I bought a new toy, a Shark WV200 handheld vacuum cleaner.

Pretty handy and no I haven't tested it on myself yet. Is this something you would be interested in?

Shark sux. Their crap breaks and is impossible to fix. For vacuums I got with Sebo. For cordless suckers, I go with milwaukee.

For today, finishing up some scripts that will take screenshots of my son's laptop periodically since he has been getting up super early before everyone and browsing crappy gaming websites. He swears he only works on school (but his sister always rats him out). So instead of confront him with proof, I'll just slowly block each website I see him going to that I don't like.

Also he is apparently opening the calculator app when doing math work. So I'll replace that with a script that just sends me an email and then opens the calculator app :sly:

daughter just wanted to enjoy a game of chess but emailed my wife this. The fact that she seems grossed out means she probably didn't know what it was so she googled it or ran it through claude.ai :bleh:

Shark is German quality made by the company SharkNinja GmbH. I don't think I can even buy Milwaukee where I'm at right now. I've never seen Milwaukee tools anywhere.

I've kind of never seen fruit in a trash can like that. Is it normal in other countries that during public gatherings they just hand out fruit or something? Because here in the USA there's nothing for free and it's just expensive fried pickle on a stick type things everywhere.

I don't know where the bananas come from. It is possible that the stands that sell stuff might have used that trashcan but they have special hired containers anyway. In the festival you see all sort of food, burger, crepes, langos, Indian, Asian and drinks of all sorts ... and of course churros.

I'll settle with my monkey theory.
