For today, more claude code crap. It basically vibe coded an entire back end for my SaaS idea. Need to review that some more. But need to get it started on the front end UI which I have little experience with the javash!t react.js stuff so I'll just have to trust it. Which probably won't work because even with the simpler back end stuff I had to stop it from going down the wrong path several times

Also need to visit my grandmother today but my wife hates doing that and is really putting up a fuss and I don't want to go by myself

Since we have two roosters now, we've decided to honor one by inviting him to our Christmas dinner as the main guest. Going to get him "prepped" tonight. Might post pics.

Did the deed. Was easier than I thought. Watched a few youtube vids. Looked easy. One guy even said in the video "it's almost like these were made to be butchered".

You basically just grab one, hang it upside down. Slit throat, wait for flopping to stop. Dunk in 150 degree water for 30 seconds. Rip out feathers. Cut out crop below neck. Make slice above asshole, rip open cavity. Rip out guts. Done
Mine had a bunch of fine hairs. A few waves over an open flame took care of those.

Sadly, this was a huge rooster. Well we thought it was. It was all feathers. That was the whole point of butchering him. Was too big to waste we thought

Also not going to be a "white christmas" this year. Was like 72 degrees outside, high humidity. Got soaked in sweat pretty good just doing this.

Threw the head on top of the trash for the kids to find. Threw the guts and feet to neighbor's dog
