My AI coding session recommend I use 'django-vditor' for a markdown editor in a django project. But it doesn't seem to work, as in, it doesn't even seem the package is built right. Not for the latest version. Went to grab the last ball of code from the official repo, but then noticed most of the last changes came from this AI powered pull request But the repo has a fancy readme and there are all these configured github action powered tests. Which all failed for that pull request

I mean, just holy fuuuuuu

Wasted over an hour screwing with this.

Looks like the last working version was the initial version from 2021

I'm slowly rewriting all the python/django code that the $100 claude code plan wrote for me last month. Hadn't really used django in years, had forgotten so much. But so much has come back now that I've been cleaning up the AI slop. The really retarded thing is django is pretty easy, almost no point in using AI for it. Testing is another matter though. But standing up a large back end api with django is not much typing. Dumb that I let AI do it instead of learning how to do it myself. Now I'm sort of stuck with really retarded architecture stuff
Well unless I just completely rewrite the whole thing
