CINCINNATI (WKRC) - After years of battling addiction, Chuck Moore, a husband and father, has transformed his life experiences into a national program aimed at helping others.

Moore, the founder of the Healthy Sexuality Healing Group, shared his journey, hoping to inspire others to seek help.

"I developed a lot of compulsive sexual behaviors," said Moore. "It became worse and worse over time, until finally I realized my life was a complete disaster."

Moore's path to recovery began with a 12-step style program, similar to Alcoholics Anonymous. He realized that discussions about such addictions were often avoided, even in safe spaces like his home church in Ohio.

"I felt called and committed to create something that would help other men," said Moore.

Despite being a successful businessman and Harvard graduate, Moore felt isolated. He started a weekly group called Men's Healthy Sexuality to help men stay accountable and connected.

"People believe that the problem is the sex; it's the unwanted sexual behaviors," he said. "Until you wake up to how alone you are, nothing else will work."
