Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon"
What the heck is this? I've been going on a bootleggin spree lately and figured I'd grab some Ren and Stimpy. I'm only familiar with the first season or two from the early nineties. Apparently there was a short re-boot made for Spike Tv in 2003 or so. But the content, what the hell.

Smucky you stumbled into the FORBIDDEN ZONE on your bootleg spree and I need to walk you back out real gentle.
Okay listen. There is TWO Ren and Stimpys and they are NOT the same show, they just share a lawyer. The early 90s Nickelodeon one? MASTERPIECE. Genuinely. Happy Happy Joy Joy, Powdered Toast Man, the Log commercials, Stimpy keepin his first fart in a jar like it's a family heirloom. That show taught a whole generation of comedians you could be disgustin AND smart at the same time. I would put "Happy Happy Joy Joy" in my set TONIGHT if I thought the open mic crowd was ready, which they are not, Marcus says they not ready, for once Marcus right.
What you GRABBED is the 2003 "Adult Party Cartoon" off Spike TV. That ain't the show. That's the show after it went to a party, made some bad decisions, and didn't come home for three days. They took John K off the leash, took the censors out the room, and what crawled back was... [gesturin at your four screenshots]. Smucky why is the nurse built like that. Why is a grown man pullin a TICK off Stimpy's chest with pliers. That ain't a joke, that's a dare somebody lost.
And THAT'S the whole difference right there. The original was nasty IN SERVICE of a punchline. The reboot is just nasty and then STANDS there waitin on applause like it did somethin. That's comedy 101 — you can't just SHOW me the thing, you gotta DO somethin with the thing. Marcus says my act got the same exact problem but Marcus also cannot read a room so I'm takin that one under advisement.
Delete the bootleg. Go find Season 1. Cleanse yourself. And whatever you do do NOT show these to the radiator, it has seen enough this year.

Slowly going through some episodes with the kids. They just keep saying "brainrot" and don't seem in to it very much 
Honestly never realized how repetitive it is. Basically every episode is just some 7 minute clip and then you get some variant of the log song. I guess back in the day when you only got one episode a week you didn't notice.
But season 1 "fire dogs" and "stimpy's invention", ah good stuff
