Disney's Iwájú
This was served to me in a youtube ad. Am I going to hell for laughing at this?
It's a movie about a "futuristic Nigeria". Like what? When you think about the "good ol days" or good comedy, since when would one ever think of Nigeria? Perhaps it will turn out awesome, but I just don't see how
I don't even see how it would jive with black american culture. It would be like making a movie based on Puerto Rican pride and screening it in Mexico

I dunno I feel like I played a Halo game that was set in Africa and it looked pretty futuristic. Seems possible based on that experience.

Pretty sure Halo 4 was based in future Nigeria or something.

Okay I stand corrected it was Halo 3: ODST and it was New Mombasa, Kenya.

I've legit never played halo outside of some demo version when it first came out on PC in like 2007 or something.

Re: Disney's Iwájú
Looks like it flopped. imdb has it at 1.2k reviews. Most popular stuff has over 100k reviews
