I legit stole the game from walmart back in like 2002. Didn't even really want it. Installed it on my new-ish dell inspiron 8200 laptop and it ran like crap.
Ah, after reading the
wiki, I see the game was release in May 2002. That explains why I stole it even thought it wasn't my kind of game. I was about to go to tech school and had spent my entire life savings, $1800, on that dell laptop like in June 2002. I saw the game and the graphics it had and was curious if my laptop would run it. And since I had just bought the laptop, I had no money. So I took the box, went behind a display of men's shavers that was kind of in a corner, ripped open the box and dropped the CD down my pants.
That also explains why my friend and I had a bit of trouble "getting into" the game. We didn't have the manual

That might have helped. I always read the manuals to games usually and that one seems pretty intense.
And speaking of manuals, I was hoping my kids could get into this game. But so far, no go. I honestly couldn't imagine handing them a copy of the manual and telling them to read it.
Is that why the zoomer and alpha generation are so retarded? Because games don't come with thick manuals anymore so they have no need to be good at comprehending reading/writing/language???
