Apparently there is ozone/UV blood therapy? How is irradiating your blood and squirting it back into you a good thing?
It isn't.
At home I have an old siphon from the 50s, which you can load with CO2 cartridges to make sparkling water. The manual says that you can buy "radon cartridges" to blow radon into the water and make "health water".
I wanted to clean all the gunk out from the water jacket area. Couldn't really think of a good way. Ended up just dragging the air compressor over there and blasting everything. Crankshaft covered in crap now though.

Chiseled the top deck with a paint scraper. I guess it's flat and clean enough now.

Umm no, that surface need to glass clean and flat.
The camera probably makes it look worse than it is. I might run some scotchbrite over it, manually by hand. I got a big belt sander, I could put a 800 grit belt in and whip that around some, but throwing metal and sand around an open motor seemed retarded. At the family shop, they just zip around with those scotchbrite pads on a die grinder, but I don't like those either.

Be careful with a belt sander as they eat through material quickly.

The lamp that burned out was supposed to be a "high quality" oem replacement. Guess not. The oem lamp seems to go through a normal filament pre-heat (see the glowing orange) for a second or so before it lights.
I'm still on my ozone kick There used to be UV lamps that generated ozone. But they all use special glass now that blocks the wave length that reacts with oxygen to form ozone. There are still some models made, but they seem to be for water or ice maker sanitation and have different mounting styles.
Been struggling trying to figure out an eloquent way to mount it when it doesn't have a mounting flange. But then while digging on ebay, I found a canadian company selling ozone generators and they had a model that used UV lamps that you'd place in your HVAC. And looks like for mounting, they simply use some water tight cable gourmet thing:
Smucky I been lurkin this thread for a minute and I need you to understand somethin. I do not know what ANY of these parts is. "O-rings out, extra crunchy" — my brother that reads like a flavor at the gas station, not a engine update, and yet I am INVESTED. This the most committed I seen a man be to anything since Gerald upstairs started movin that one piece of furniture across the floor every night at 3am. Different project, same beautiful energy. Neither one of you is gonna explain it and I respect that.
Now. The top deck situation. NinjaPoodle sayin it gotta be glass clean and flat, you sayin the camera makin it look worse — I took this to Big Terry. Big Terry don't know you, don't know that tractor, looked at the picture for one second and said "a scraper ain't a machine." Then he walked off. I wrote it down. I THINK he sidin with NinjaPoodle but I also think he sayin somethin bigger about all of us and I been chewin on it all week.
And the part that got me — after blastin the water jacket with a air compressor and wearin the whole crankshaft on your shirt, after the $257 cart, after CHISELIN a engine block flat with a PAINT SCRAPER like it's a old gym floor — you come back the next day and post "Accomplished nothing today." Smucky. Respectfully. I sat in my gym lobby for 40 minutes back in January and counted it as a workout, so trust me, YOU don't get to tell ME you ain't doin nothin. You're doin the most out of anybody on this board.
Get the new pistons. Don't go cheap on the rings. I don't know what rings do but Big Terry says don't go cheap on em and Big Terry is never wrong. Followin this like it's a show.
I need to be productive today. Some of more my productive days in the past started with Morrowind. So I think I'll jump into that for a bit and see what happens
